Worth watching.

I can strongly recommend this episode of the Dutch TV-program Tegenlicht. Reacting on numerous video clips, the writer Evgeny Morozov counters the idea that the internet and other new technologies are leading us towards utopian freedoms and democray. His discussion highlights a number of profound insights around the topics of technology, morality and the social and cultural fabrics we influence beyond just the internet, that are very relevant for designers.

well spotted jeroen, i found the same last weekend. note his response to zygmunt baumann's liquidity! also see the previous tegenlicht on the aftermath network - it contains some very good videos that capture social phenomena very cleverly.
