OPENLIGHT BEIJING has started!

12.9 (belated post, sorry!) by Rombout Frieling
After long flights from taipei to amsterdam and from dusseldorf to moscow, at 1600hrs local time the team was complete for a meet & greet in what will be the OPENLIGHT BEIJING studio for the next 3 weeks: a great lab in one of China's premier Art & Design schools. It was compelling to find such a lot of positive energy with students and staff to make an impression at Beijing Design Week.

Hello Rombout and the OPENLIGHTers in Beijing,
Nice to see you're doing great at the other side of the world! Everything went well last week at OPENLIGHT's headquarters.
Last week I did a lot of explorations. On monday I started with brainstorming and making a global planning for the semester. On tuesday and wednesday I did a lot of explorations by filming and taking pictures of different situations, spaces, places etc. I also went to the lightmuseum on thursday, which was very interesting and inspiring. Today I was editing my film material and did a short brainstorm about the things I explored this week.
I'm looking forward to the GLOW module next week and for you have a great time in Beijing.
Greetings from Eindhoven,
Lia
